Inspired by nature, and cultures across the globe, I began developing recipes for soaps and skin care in my kitchen in North Florida in 2013. After years of traveling around the world studying food ways, and social justice, I realized it was time to create in a form that reflects all the goodness from what I'd learned thus far.  With a dream of crafting quality products from ingredients that consider indigenous rights, and environmental conservation, as well as the hope of sharing them with a message of love, Sassafras was born in 2015.

Wellness is at the core of all that is done at Sassafras Soap Lab. I believe that wellness begins with the nourishment that we allow ourselves as individuals. Nourishment in mind, body, and soul are essential to overall wellness and all is considered when creating products. From the botanicals grown on-site in the organic garden & the ingredients used from afar, to the partnerships maintained, Sassafras Soap Lab upholds the promise that loads of love, joy and hard work have gone into each product!
